Location: TBD
Speaker: Russell Duggan-Rees, Chief Technologist, Global Smart Manufacturing, DXC Technology

  • Data-driven smart factories enable manufacturers to efficiently meet their top priority - digitalizing production processes and gaining deeper insights into production improvements.  DXC and Dell have collaborated to implement a computer vision solution at the network edge that facilitates over 40 million inferencing decisions daily and leverages data to enhance yield, boost production productivity and trim operational costs. During this session, participants will discover strategic approaches to manufacturing digitalization, optimal utilization of computer vision in production facilities and AI integration.

Date:  TBD
Location: TBD
Speaker: Charlie Wardell, Chief Technology Officer, Analytics & Engineering, DXC Technology

  • Enterprise intelligence plays a crucial role in enabling organizations to make data-driven decisions, understand market trends, enhance customer experiences and optimize operational efficiency. Increasingly, enterprise intelligence incorporates cutting-edge technologies to handle the growing complexity and volume of business data. In this session,  Charlie will discuss the importance of building an AI/Generative AI foundation upon which future enterprise intelligence systems should be built, and demonstrate why your architectures need to be prepared to handle cloud repatriation and support the right cloud approach in conjunction with these efforts.

Speaker: Gail Carr, Global Security Advisor, DXC Technology

  • Maintaining cybersecurity is becoming ever more complex in the face of regulatory requirements such as the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA); the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA); the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI); and, more recently, the new rules imposed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for Cybersecurity Risk Management, Strategy, Governance, and Incident Disclosures, which impact all U.S. publicly traded companies.
  • In order for companies to sustain business operations, they must rethink and adapt the way they prepare for, respond to and recover from cyber threats. Every organization needs a detailed strategy for cyber resiliency, which will require a multi-layered approach to ensure maximum protection and minimize risk exposure, with a focus on protecting core assets and services. Resiliency is not a one-time project, but a journey with a program of continuous improvement that is aligned to a relevant cybersecurity framework. Ideally, your strategy determines which business processes are critical assets, as well as which datasets, data types, applications, databases and foundational technologies should be protected by cyber recovery solutions such as those offered by Dell Technologies.
